This blog is a reflective journal that I will be writing as part of the MA Fine Art (Digital) that I am undertaking at UAL. I suspect that this sort of writing will, for a number of reasons, be quite challenging for me. I am instinctively quite cautious and the idea of flinging my thoughts out into the world on a weekly basis does not sit particularly comfortably with me. I tend to prefer a lengthy process of thinking, rethinking and over-thinking before I commit to writing things down (my undergraduate dissertation took forever!). I do, however, enjoy a challenge and I can certainly see the potential benefits of the process. I am going to try and write at least one post a week and I am also going to try and take Jonathan’s advice on not worrying too much about crafting beautiful prose. Let’s see how it goes!
